Unlock Code Generators The following describes how to download files that install the unlock code generator software for DesignWare ( 1.0, 1.2, 1.3 ), Planscape or Splash on your hard drive on a computer with the XP operating system or the proper version of the Windows 7 operating system. Windows 7 and 16 bit Software DesignWare ( 1.0, 1.2, 1.3 ), or any version of Planscape or Splash are old 16 bit programs. They will only run on and should only be downloaded, if your computer has an XP operating system or a Windows 7 operating system, with version Professional or higher. These programs and their Unlock Code Generators will not run on Windows 7 with version Basic or Home Premium. You can upgrade your Windows 7 with version Basic or Home Premium, to Professional for around $90. With Windows 7, version Professional or higher, you can download the free XP emulator software from Microsoft so you can run our old 16 bit software. If you are not sure of the version of your operating system, click here to check on its version. Download Install Program Download the InstallUnlockGen16.exe install program. (about 1.7 MB) After you press Download, a window similar to one of these will appear.   It is best to press the Save button so the install file will be stored, at a location you select, on your computer. You might even copy it to a CD for future use on another computer. During the install process a number of windows will appear. Press the highlighted button on each window to complete the installation. At the end of the installation, press the Finish button. Also, the install program places this icon  named Unlock Code Generator 16 on your desktop and adds this name to the All Programs menu.
Running the Unlock Program When the program starts the following window will appear. 
Press the Add Product ... button. 
For the File Name select: LANDSCPE.TPP for all DesignWare programs or select: PLANSCP.TPP for the Planscape program. SPLASH.TPP for the Splash program. Then press OK and the Password window is presented. The password for all DesignWare programs is xxxxxx ( all lower case ) and the password for the Planscape and the Splash program is dig. ( all lower case ). 
After pressing OK, you are ready to use the DesignWare unlock program. 
The 16 digit registration number of the program to be unlocked is located on the program's, Trial Period Window which appears when either the DesignWare programs or Planscape is started. This is shown in the next section, Registration Number and Unlocking Program. Enter the DesignWare 16 digit registration number from the Trial Period Window of the program to be unlocked and press the <- Show Unlock button. The button will be enabled after you have entered 16 digits. Your 16 digit unlock code will appear in the Unlock Code text box. 
Some operating systems do not like to run 16 bit software so you might get a couple error messages. Just ignore them by pressing the OK button. The unlock code is still correct. 
Registration Number and Unlocking Program The final step is to unlock the software. If DesignWare or Planscape have not been unlocked, the following window will appear when the program first starts which contains the registration number. 
Press the Purchase button and the following window will appear. 
Enter the unlock code, created by the unlock code generator, your name and the company name. Note: the software doesn't care what you enter for User Name and Company Name but it has to be something more than 3 characters. Then press the OK button. If the correct unlock code has been entered, a small window will appear thanking you for your purchase.
