Unlocking DesignWare 1.0 - 1.3 and Planscape 1.0 - 2.1a These programs are unlocked in the same manner as with non Vista computers. Unlocking DesignWare 3.0 - 3.1 and 3.3 If you follow the simple instructions below, you will be able to run Designware on a Vista computer. Since we are all new to Vista and there are many versions of Vista, if you find that these instructions do not work, please send a note to support@digtechsupport.com. You may want to print this page. Change Vista Settings for DesignWare 0. "Single click" on the DesignWare desktop icon to give it focus. 1. "Right-click" on the DesignWare icon and select "Run as administrator". 2. The "User Account Control" window will appear. Select "Allow" and press the "OK" button. 3. "Right-click" on the DesignWare icon again and select "Properties". 4. The "Properties" window, similar to the one shown below, will appear. Select the "Compatibility" tab.
5. In the "Compatibility mode" area, check the box, "Run this program ....." and leave the choice as "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)". Then press "OK". 6. This will take you back to the desktop. You are now ready to get the serail number of your DesignWare program. The following steps are the same as those for non Vista computers. Locate Serial Number 7. "Single click" on the program's desktop icon to give it focus. 8. While holding the "Shift" key down, "double-click" on the program's icon. 9. The "Register" window should appear. If it doesn't, try the process again ... it will work. 10. The serial number is located in the upper right hand corner of the window.

Your Name Your Company Name Your Phone Number All of the above information is required before we will issue an unlock code. Unlock DesignWare 11. Repeat steps 0 through 9 to get back to the "Register" window. 12. Make sure the "Register License" mode is selected. 13. After you receive the unlock code, enter it into the "...Unlock Code:" text box. We suggest copying and pasting to minimize typing errors. 14. Usually, the code is a mixture of capital letters and numbers. 15. Put the "Caps Lock" key on. Note the difference between the number "0" and the capital letter "O" (as in OK) and the difference between the number "1" and the capital letter "l" (as in Idea). 16. Then press the "Unlock" button. The window will change ... and press the "Continue" button to complete the unlock process. |
